Founded in 2017 in Barcelona, Innovamat works with 27,000 teachers from over 2,600 educational centers across Spain, the United States, Mexico, Italy, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, and Peru—enabling more than 600,000 students to learn mathematics while fostering deep understanding and competency development. **Your Mission** You will join our Primary School Content Team and play a key role in designing, developing, and innovating our pedagogical project. You will be responsible for transforming profound mathematical concepts into rigorous, engaging, and effective classroom learning experiences. **Your Day-to-Day at Innovamat** * Pedagogical Design and Innovation: You will create original, research-based teaching materials for primary school educators, collaborating closely with experts in mathematics didactics. * Review and Optimization: You will evaluate and enhance the quality of existing materials (teacher guides, student resources, presentations, audiovisual scripts, etc.). * Vertical and Cross-Curricular Coordination: You will coordinate with Early Childhood and Secondary Education teams to ensure coherence in learning across all educational stages. * Multidisciplinary Co-creation: You will work alongside illustration, linguistic, layout, and instructional design teams to guarantee the highest technical and formal quality. * Internationalization and Adaptation: You will analyze and adapt the curriculum proposal to diverse sociocultural and regulatory contexts across other regions and countries. * Educational Research and Innovation: You will continuously engage with the latest trends and research in mathematics didactics and educational technology. * Field Validation and Research: You will visit schools to test and evaluate materials in real classroom settings, collecting qualitative feedback from teachers and students to support continuous improvement. **What We’re Looking For** * Classroom Experience: Prior experience as a Primary School teacher, directly managing mathematics instruction in the classroom. (We seek someone who intimately understands real classroom dynamics, challenges, and needs.) * Strong Background in Mathematics Didactics: * Specialized training (Postgraduate degree, Master’s, specialized courses, or certification in Mathematics Didactics or STEM). * Or, a distinguished track record applying and implementing active and manipulative methodologies for teaching mathematics. * Linguistic Competence: Strong written and verbal communication skills in Catalan, Spanish, and English (ability to work fluently and produce content seamlessly in these languages). * Digital Proficiency: Mastery of digital tools for creating, laying out, and managing teaching materials. * Project Management: Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize complex tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. * **Competencies and Mindset:** + Passion and vocation for mathematics education: Genuine, sustained interest in pedagogical research and new ways of teaching and learning mathematics. + Critical thinking and analytical capacity: Solid pedagogical judgment to assess what works in the classroom—and why. + Flexibility, proactivity, and adaptability: A growth mindset, comfort with change, and agility to iterate proposals based on feedback. + Teamwork and empathetic communication: Skill in giving and receiving constructive feedback across highly diverse professional profiles.
