MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Identify the optimal installation timing for each component comprising the vessel and develop installation methods based on operational efficiency and sustainability criteria.
Prepare Installation Methods documentation—from definition phase through detailed phase—within established timelines for the following:
Functional Systems (Data Sheets)
Technical Installation Documents (DTIs)
Life-Cycle Support Documents (MMVs and others)
ShipAlts
Development of installation tooling
Review and validate Installation Methods documents and deliverables subcontracted to collaborating industry partners.
Collaborate in weekly monitoring of Installation Methods work progress across various programs, reporting status updates on completed documents.
Conduct on-site monitoring of systems associated with the prepared documentation, supporting Production in implementing documented procedures and reflecting changes or improvements in the documents to keep them up to date.
Stay current with state-of-the-art installation practices and software used within the department—both in the naval industry and other industries—and explore new techniques and tools enabling continuous improvement.
Support implementation of new working tools for upcoming projects, both in design and management contexts.
Participate in continuous improvement of departmental documentation and deliverables by incorporating lessons learned from various programs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degrees in Naval Engineering
Degrees in Industrial Engineering
Degrees in Mechanical Engineering
Degrees in Telecommunications Engineering
Training courses to be considered during Phase 1 (Merit-Based Selection) related to the position being filled:
CAD
Microstation
Foran FDesign
Siemens NX
WORKING CONDITIONS
**Entry Level:** Minimum D2
**Contract Type:** Permanent
The selected candidate shall perform duties under the working hours regime applicable to the assigned position, which may include standard working hours, shift work, or any other special working hour arrangements stipulated in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
