Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams **Job Description** We are currently looking to hire a **Senior RPG Developer** to strengthen our team specialized in **IBM i (AS/400\)** environments, contributing to the maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of business\-critical applications for our clients. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain applications in IBM i (AS/400\) environments. * Perform functional and technical analysis of business requirements. * Manage and optimize SQL queries and processes in DB2 databases. * Design, develop, and test RPG programs. * Develop and maintain both batch and interactive processes. * Troubleshoot incidents and provide support for production applications. * Participate in technology evolution initiatives and legacy application modernization projects. * Create and maintain technical documentation. * Collaborate with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and multidisciplinary technical teams. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. * Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in AS/400 system administration and support. * Strong knowledge of RPG, COBOL, and CL programming languages. * Experience with AS/400 tools and utilities (e.g., iSeries Navigator, Query/400\). * Knowledge of DB2 databases. * Familiarity with networking, storage, and virtualization concepts in AS/400 environments. **Nice\-to\-Have Skills** * Query/400\. * iSeries Navigator. * Web Services and APIs on IBM i. * Version control tools. * Functional knowledge of banking, insurance, manufacturing, or distribution sectors. **Languages** * Spanish: Native or bilingual proficiency. * English: Intermediate to upper\-intermediate level (preferred). **Key Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and take ownership of development tasks. * Capability to work in complex environments and on mission\-critical systems. * Commitment to quality and continuous improvement. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. **Additional Information** At Tieto, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
