Location: Santiago, León, Spain \| Work Model: Hybrid \| Visa Requirements: Valid work permit for Spain or Spanish citizenship \| Languages: Spanish \+ Intermediate-to-advanced English required. **Role Introduction** As our new Senior Backend Developer .NET, you will design and develop robust, scalable backend solutions supporting digital transformation projects across various industries. You will play a key role both in modernizing existing systems and in developing new cloud-native solutions. You will work closely with architecture, frontend, DevOps, and business stakeholders, participating in technical decisions and ensuring maintainable, high-quality solutions with real business impact. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and implement scalable backend services using current .NET technologies * Participate in legacy application modernization projects and greenfield cloud development * Develop and maintain REST APIs and distributed architectures * Apply SOLID principles, Clean Code, and test-driven development practices * Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous technical improvements * Ensure code quality through automated testing and continuous integration * Collaborate within agile, multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-value solutions What We Expect From You: Must Have: * Solid experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework * In-depth knowledge of backend architecture and REST API development * Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases * Practical mastery of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and testing * Experience with Git-based workflows and collaborative tools * Good communication skills in English Nice to Have: * Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-oriented architectures * Experience working in cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines **What We Offer** * Flat organizational structure where ideas count * Involvement in real digital transformation projects * Collaborative, innovation-focused culture * Continuous learning and professional growth opportunities * Flexible work model with hybrid arrangement * A team committed to technical excellence and quality
