Description
The Event Kitchen Assistant position focuses on being part of the culinary operations team, ensuring seamless food service during congresses, conferences, and meetings. The role is dynamic and adapts to the event calendar, offering a varied experience throughout the year. Tasks take place in a large-scale fast-service kitchen, where support spans from ingredient preparation to final service and cleaning. This requires high adaptability, as schedules and intensity vary per event; it is essential to be methodical, detail-oriented, and strictly compliant with food hygiene regulations. Constant coordination with the team fosters a collaborative environment.
The contract is a fixed-term intermittent contract, with potential continuity depending on event scheduling. Working hours are adjusted according to availability and the requirements of each event. The base remuneration is €11.62 gross per hour, with a night shift premium of €14.52 gross per hour. A free staff cafeteria is provided, along with a secure area for parking bicycles and scooters on the work premises.
At least one year of proven experience in similar roles within the hospitality sector is required, specifically handling American-style trays and working as a waiter. A positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle high workloads are essential. Availability and flexibility to adapt to morning, afternoon, or night shifts are fundamental requirements for this position.
