At VTO, we are looking for a Backend Developer to cover a replacement role, developing software projects and solutions in coordination with clients and suppliers. **Job Description** Your responsibilities within the team will be: * **Develop software applications** according to business requirements and specifications. * Analyze requirements for **technical solution design**, and prepare proposals for validation by management. * **Ensure the quality** of assigned developments through unit testing, bug debugging, and peer review. * **Deliver well-structured, maintainable, and thoroughly documented code.** * **Collaborate with a cross-functional team**, including frontend developers, UX/UI engineers, project managers, etc. * **Work closely with the Infrastructure and Operations division** to ensure proper deployment of deliverables. * **Provide technical advice**, identifying optimal solutions to business challenges. * **Interact with internal teams** from other departments **and external suppliers.** * **Validate deliverables received** from the internal development team or external collaborators. * **Participate in the continuous improvement** of tasks related to project development. * **Ensure cost and schedule compliance** for assigned tasks. **Requirements** What do we need from you? * Higher education degree in **Computer Engineering, Software Development, Telecommunications, or similar.** * Proven experience handling backend development solutions such as **SPRINGBOOT, JPA, HIBERNATE, LIQUIBASE, and JASPER REPORTS**, and web design patterns including: **AJAX, RESTful APIs**, and **Microservices.** * Minimum **2 years’ experience as a software analyst/programmer.** * Knowledge of **Cloud-oriented solutions**, such as **Docker, Kubernetes**, etc. * Familiarity with **architectural patterns and best practices** for designing modular, scalable, and secure systems. * Experience with **version control software** (**SVN, Github and/or Bitbucket**). * Prior experience in **ERP development and/or maintenance.** * Prior experience in IT consulting is desirable. * Training and experience in **database management (Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL).** * Knowledge of **Document Management Systems and/or Business Intelligence.** * Familiarity with **test automation technologies (SonarQube, Playwright, etc).** * Knowledge of frontend technologies such as **ANGULAR, JAVASCRIPT** with **TYPESCRIPT** and **BOOTSTRAP.** * Knowledge of **Agile methodologies**, such as SCRUM. * Fluency in **Spanish and English**, both spoken and written. **Additional Information** **What do we offer?** * **Remote work model.** * **Flexible compensation plan.** * **Flexible working hours** to support work-life balance. * An attractive and personalized **training plan** focused on your professional development. * An **international and multicultural work environment.** * **Makro card** for purchases with discounts.
