Join our team so that, with ambition and a results-driven focus, we go beyond expectations! *Together, we are and we do* ***Mapfre***. **Internship Features:** * **Modality**: In-person. * **Location**: Calle de María Tubau 10, Madrid * **Duration**: Minimum of 6 months, extendable up to one year. * **Study Allowance**: Gross monthly stipend of €600/€800, depending on working hours. * **Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, 9:00–14:00 / 8:00–15:00 (5 or 7 hours/day). * **Start Date**: April 27, 2026 **What will you do during this internship?** We belong to the Corporate Security Department (DCS), and as an intern, you’ll participate in validating and detailing the actions required to implement various firewall rule openings requested across Mapfre’s deployed firewalls involved in communications. You’ll be involved in: * Script generation. * Automation development using Tenable scripting language. * Generating compliance reports/information on bastion hardening based on scanning results. * Validating firewall rule openings. * Re-engineering insecure firewall rules from a security perspective. **Technologies you’ll learn:** * Tenable and Bash scripting languages * Splunk * Check Point, Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Meraki **Who are we looking for?** * **Students** pursuing Bachelor’s degrees in Telecommunications or Computer Science * **English**: Minimum B2 level * **Technical Knowledge**: Specific expertise in script development and automation for bastion hardening verification using Tenable tools, along with knowledge of firewall communications—especially Check Point, FortiGate, and Palo Alto devices. * **Proficiency in specific applications**: Tenable/Bash scripting language, Splunk tool, and use of Check Point, FortiGate, and Palo Alto communication platforms. * **Competencies/skills**: Interest in technology; analytical ability; proactivity; commitment; communication skills; attention to order and quality; teamwork; initiative/autonomy; perseverance; goal orientation; willingness to learn; organization; attention to detail. **Which capabilities do we value—and that you’ll get to practice?** A curious mindset, eagerness to learn and collaborate in teams.
