Job Summary: We are seeking an operator for a metal industry company to maintain bath systems, transport materials, handle chemicals, and maintain the workplace. Key Responsibilities: 1. Keep the bath systems operational and monitor their parameters. 2. Handle chemicals following strict safety regulations. 3. Maintain the workplace and wastewater treatment plant in good condition. We are looking for a person to work as an operator in a metal industry company located in the Pla de L'Estany area. Main duties include keeping the bath systems operational—checking that tanks are ready and verifying liquid and water levels. It is also necessary to ensure the correct temperature, start up the system, and control microns using the Fischer equipment. Other tasks include transferring material from cardboard reels to plating coils, placing material into the dryer, and handling chemicals using all required personal protective equipment and strictly following instructions. Additionally, the role involves maintaining the workplace and wastewater treatment plant in good condition: monitoring pH levels according to the established table, cleaning baths according to quarterly and annual protocols, draining tanks containing water, acid, and degreaser, keeping pumps free of limescale, and maintaining sludge in the wastewater treatment plant at appropriate levels. A full-time temporary contract is offered, with 40 working hours per week from Monday to Friday, on rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night), including legally mandated rest periods. * Minimum one year of experience. * We seek a responsible individual with a positive attitude. * Proximity of residence to the workplace is an advantage.
