Join the team of Environmental Educators at Barcelona's municipal markets and become part of a project committed to sustainability and the transformation of consumption habits. We are seeking Environmental Educators for training and awareness-raising activities at municipal markets. Where will you work? You will carry out your activities at various municipal markets across nine municipalities in the province of Barcelona: Artés (Bages), Capellades (Anoia), Montmeló (Vallès Oriental), Calella (Maresme), Les Franqueses del Vallès (Vallès Oriental), Manlleu (Osona), Pineda de Mar (Maresme), Santa Perpètua de Mogoda (Vallès Occidental), and Vilassar de Mar (Maresme). Carry out information, awareness-raising, and environmental advisory actions targeting stallholders and citizens at municipal markets, promoting waste prevention, reduction of single-use plastics, and adoption of more sustainable consumption habits. Specific training in the following areas will be valued: Waste prevention and management, circular economy, environmental education and communication, community engagement, and citizen participation. Relevant experience: Experience in environmental education or citizen awareness campaigns; experience in street-level outreach, information points, or commercial visits; experience in facilitating participatory activities or working on sustainability-related projects. Use of digital applications for field data registration. Technical competencies: Knowledge of regulations and best practices related to waste prevention. Ability to explain environmental concepts clearly and understandably. Good command of digital tools (tablet, electronic forms, registration applications). Capacity for autonomous organization and task management. Personal competencies: Communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Active listening and empathy.
