Job Summary: Bricklayers are sought to execute elevator shafts, carry out entrance adaptations, install technical mobility solutions, and perform structural adaptations in Gijón. Key Responsibilities: 1. Execution of elevator shafts and technical enclosures 2. Adaptations of building entrances and mobility solutions 3. Structural adaptations of slabs, beams, and staircases Four bricklaying professionals are sought in Gijón (Asturias). Main duties will include execution of elevator shafts, covering foundation work and construction of pit structures, as well as technical enclosures using materials such as brick or concrete block, or preparation for metallic structures. Entrance adaptations will also be carried out, involving controlled demolitions and reconstruction of common areas to comply with accessibility regulations. Additionally, technical mobility solutions will be addressed, including installation and reinforcement of components for lifting platforms and ramps, always in accordance with technical drawings. Finally, structural adaptations will be performed, modifying existing slabs, beams, and staircases to integrate new vertical circulation cores. A minimum of 10 years’ demonstrable experience in civil works and building construction is required, with specialization in elevators, maintenance and installation of lifts, and works on single-family, residential, and public-use buildings. Ability to interpret architectural drawings and construction details is essential, as is possession of the active 20-hour Occupational Health and Safety (PRL) course specifically for bricklaying. The position offers an indefinite-term contract with full-time hours, from 08:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00. Salary will be determined according to the Collective Agreement for the Metal Industry of the Principality of Asturias.
