Barquín y Otxoa is seeking to hire a **Traffic Manager to coordinate and supervise** one of its transportation operations in Llodio. We are **specialized in temperature-controlled transportation and distribution of goods**. We perform the **distribution of refrigerated food products**, correctly palletized\*\*, beverages, and other standard goods from the distribution and supermarket sectors.\*\* We seek professionals committed to providing a safe, punctual, and high-quality service, ensuring at all times compliance with the cold chain and transportation standards. **Responsibilities** ---------- * Management and coordination of the driver team assigned to the operation. * Planning, organization, and monitoring of transportation routes. * Daily supervision of services and adherence to scheduled timetables. * Cost control and profitability management of the operation. * Monitoring and tracking of assigned trucks and vehicles. * Coordination of maintenance, breakdowns, and fleet requirements. * Resolution of operational incidents involving drivers and customers. * Continuous communication with clients to ensure service quality. * Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, driving hours, and rest periods. * Preparation of reports and monitoring of key operational performance indicators. **Requirements** -------------- * Prior experience as a Traffic Manager, Traffic Supervisor, or Transportation Operations Manager. * Experience in team management, route planning, and fleet control. * Knowledge of transportation operation costs and profitability. * Leadership, organizational, and incident-resolution capabilities. * Proficiency in transportation management and planning software tools. * Willingness to work on-site in Llodio. * Professional driving licenses will be considered an advantage. **Benefits** -------------- Starting salary of **€35,000 gross per year** for the first six months. * **Company vehicle.** * Salary review after six months, increasing up to **€40,700 gross per year**. * Integration into an established logistics group. * Stable position with direct responsibility for the operation.
