We are currently seeking a **Maintenance Refrigeration Technician**, tasked with carrying out assigned corrective and preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and safety of HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial segments. Ensuring compliance with the highest safety standards while promoting efficient energy use to optimize facility performance. **Key Responsibilities** * Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC and refrigeration installations, identifying failures and replacing defective components (e.g., compressors, fans, expansion valves, tensioners, etc.). * Troubleshoot and resolve issues including: * Electrical/electronic faults related to refrigeration or HVAC installations. * Detection and repair of refrigerant leaks. * Adjustment and calibration of control equipment or systems to ensure correct operation and performance optimization. * Perform assigned preventive or predictive maintenance tasks, documenting records and reporting relevant observations to the supervisor following inspections. * Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. * Interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and advanced technical documentation. * Prepare technical reports when required. * Propose improvements to maintenance plans to enhance operational efficiency and reduce failure risk. **Job Requirements:** * Minimum **5 to 10 years** of experience with an installation company. * Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. **Required Education:** * Vocational training program (GM or GS) – Installation and Services family – Refrigeration and Air Conditioning / Electromechanics or Electricity. * Certification attesting competence in handling fluorinated gases of any charge.
