We are seeking a **Coordinator Planning \& Logistics** for our research farm **La Marina (Murcia)** — an analytical, organized, and globally minded individual who will help optimize the planning and operational processes of our breeding activities. **Position:** ----------- As **Coordinator Planning \& Logistics Breeding Operations**, you will be responsible for coordinating planning, reporting, and analysis processes at La Marina farm, as well as driving continuous process improvement within Breeding Operations and in collaboration with other departments. Your work will be essential to ensuring efficient resource management, facilitating decision-making, and contributing to the proper execution of research and production activities. In addition, you will participate in multidisciplinary projects aimed at process optimization, conducting analyses and proposing improvements to enhance the operational efficiency of the farm and the department. **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Coordinating crop and farm activity planning and logistics. * Monitoring technical and economic aspects of projects, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of objectives. * Critically analyzing planning, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. * Organizing and maintaining documentation and information necessary to optimize operational management. * Developing, implementing, and monitoring reports and tracking tools for the farm and other company farms. * Conducting data analysis and presenting conclusions and recommendations to farm managers and Station Managers. * Identifying opportunities for internal process improvement and leading implementation of solutions. * Participating in cross-departmental projects focused on continuous improvement and process optimization. * Contributing to alignment of procedures and agreements across departments. **Requirements:** --------------- * University degree in Agricultural Engineering, Technical Agricultural Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Candidates with backgrounds in Biology, Biotechnology, or Industrial Engineering — coupled with relevant experience — will also be considered. * 1–3 years of experience in roles related to agriculture, planning, data analysis, or project management. * Experience in or strong interest in the agricultural sector and plant research and production processes. * Advanced proficiency in Excel. * Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other data analysis tools is desirable. **Additional Information:** --------------------- At Rijk Zwaan, our primary goal is to offer enjoyable and lasting employment to all members of our team.
