**Del Monte is an international Group offering a variety of wholesome and nutritious products essential to a healthy lifestyle.** **It is one of the world's leading vertically integrated producers, marketers and distributors of high\-quality fresh and fresh\-cut fruits and vegetables, as well as leading producer and distributor of prepared fruits and vegetables, juices, beverages and snacks in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.** **The Group is established in more than 100 countries and has nearly 40,000 employees worldwide.** **We are looking for an Accountant for a permanent position based in Castelldefels, Barcelona, Spain.** Reporting to the Senior Financial Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for: * Oversee financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulations. * Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections. * Manage transactions with financial institutions and review bank reconciliations. * Ensure timely preparation of donor reports and financial statements. * Maintain the fixed asset register and prepare annual asset reports. * Collaborate with auditors during audit processes. * Implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency. * Match AP invoices with PO’s. * Book AP invoices. * AR invoicing monitoring AR ageing reports. * Statutory accounting subsidiary, complete accounting and tax reporting, VAT, income tax, payments, invoicing, collections, Bank. * Filing. Required skills and competencies: * Minimum 2\-3 years overall experience. * Degree in accounting (Licenciatura Economicas o Empresariales) * Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. * Fluent in written and spoken English, Spanish appreciated. * Organizational maturity and effectiveness. * Able to demonstrate professional competence, both within the company and with external contacts. * Results orientated with a positive approach. * Ability to deal with change. * Excellent Communication Skills / Proficiency in Computers. * Able to maintain performance and focus in demanding situations.
