Visit our website: https://basquevolt.com/ We are currently looking for a Chemical Operator. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** The **Chemical Operator** is responsible for carrying out the procedures and techniques necessary to manufacture a solid-state battery in our first prototype line, following the guidelines of our Process and Production Engineering team. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineer, responsibilities include: * Assisting process engineering with FAT and SAT of our manufacturing equipment. * Working in a dry room environment, producing sample cells A, B, and C to a high-quality standard. * Assisting in DOE activities and cell disassembly, collaborating with engineering and R\+D teams to collect data for life cycle testing and test validation. * Preventive maintenance, recovery, and improvement of our R\+D production facilities. * Supporting logistical control of incoming parts and outgoing products with FIFO priority. * Supporting the team in achieving daily production targets and goals, focusing on meeting sample schedules as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Assisting in creating standard operating procedures and checklists for specific sampling phases. * Supporting all documentation requests during specific sample phases. * Helping establish a robust APQP system for future customer collaboration. * Promoting safety initiatives and supporting management in maintaining and improving our safe working environment. The **Chemical Operator** must have experience in manufacturing and standard chemical operations within a high-tech industrial facility environment. Specifically, we will value experience in the following areas: * 3 years of experience in battery manufacturing processes: Electrode, Cell Assembly, Formation, Module, Pack. Experience in polymer manufacturing is also highly desirable. * Experience working with or supplying BESS, BEV, PHEV to automotive OEMs and other clients. * Experience in dry or clean rooms, ideally ISO7 class 10\.000\. * Prior experience in fault diagnosis and investigation techniques. * Experience with ISO9001, 14001, IATF 16949, and APQP will be valued. * Prior experience in stacking facilities will be valued. * Experience using industry-standard problem-solving tools such as 5WHY, 4M, and FMEA will be valued.
