Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Documentation & Knowledge Engineer to transform complex technical knowledge into clear documentation, improving operational efficiency and reducing dependencies. We are looking for a **Technical Documentation \& Knowledge Engineer** to join a strategic project with one of our key clients: a German multinational industrial company specializing in advanced urban mobility solutions and intelligent elevator systems. **What will be your mission?** You will be responsible for **converting complex, fragmented technical knowledge into clear, structured, and business-useful documentation**, helping improve operations and reduce critical dependencies. You will work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to understand how systems truly function—and explain them in a way everyone can understand. **What will you do daily?** **System Analysis** * Review existing applications, services, and platforms * Identify and reconstruct undocumented or outdated knowledge * Understand dependencies, data flows, and business purpose **Creation of Technical and Functional Documentation** * Design documentation from two perspectives: * Technical (architecture, integrations, behavior, monitoring…) * Business (use cases, value, impact on users) * Translate complex systems into clear, structured content **Definition of Standards and Frameworks** * Create reusable documentation templates and models * Establish best practices and documentation governance **Integration into Operations (DevOps mindset)** * Ensure documentation is updated during releases, incidents, and changes * Build documentation useful for runbooks, monitoring, and incident management **Promoting a Knowledge Culture** * Help teams document more effectively * Facilitate access to and reuse of knowledge **Requirements:** * Experience in **analysis and documentation of complex systems (cloud / distributed)** * Knowledge of **DevOps, monitoring, and incident management** environments * Ability to work with incomplete information and structure it effectively * Experience with tools such as **Confluence, SharePoint, or Git-based documentation** * Ability to **explain technical concepts clearly and with a business orientation** * Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. * Advanced level of English. **What do we offer?** * **Real impact on the project**, as you will play a key role in making complex systems understandable and giving meaning to technical knowledge within the organization. * **True flexibility:** hybrid working model with offices located in Madrid. * **Close support** from the Itequia team. * **Competitive compensation package**, aligned with your experience and skills. * **Flexible benefits:** meal vouchers, transportation vouchers, childcare vouchers, and the option to join our health insurance plan.
