Ricoh is seeking to expand its Graphic Communications Services department with a technical consultant responsible for implementation, pre-sales, and post-sales support of Ricoh’s production portfolio of printing workflow management software solutions. The primary objective of this role is to design integrated hardware and software architectures that improve the customer’s workflow, reduce costs, and ensure 100% customer satisfaction during solution deployment. WHAT WILL YOU DO? You will participate in pre-sales, implementation, and support projects for printing management and automation solutions within the company’s portfolio. You will analyze customer needs to design efficient workflows in transactional and production printing environments. You will handle configuration and integration of workflow tools, output management systems, and document transformation solutions. You will collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure successful deployments and continuous optimization of solutions. Additionally, you will provide post-sales support and accompany customers in improving and evolving their platforms. Additionally: * Support Ricoh’s production sales team in achieving its objectives. * Meet assigned non-financial KPIs, including pre-sales contacts, advanced software demonstrations, and post-sales customer satisfaction follow-up meetings. * Manage customer Statements of Work (SOW) through to formal acceptance. * Participate in pre-sales activities alongside assigned production sales leads to assess potential customers’ needs and support account-level commercial strategy development. * Assist in preparing proposals and closing complex solution sales impacting the customer’s production workflow. * Independently drive post-sales implementation follow-up — separate from the Sales team — to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and identify additional workflow and application opportunities. * Design integrated hardware and software solutions aligned with the customer’s business goals and technical requirements. * Manage solution implementation projects and coordinate resources from Ricoh, the customer, and third parties, ensuring a seamless transition from installation to field-based post-sales support. * Ensure customer acceptance of the solution implementation plan. WHAT DO YOU NEED? * Essential experience and knowledge in printing environments. * University degree in Computer Science / Information Technologies or equivalent experience. * Experience in pre-sales and post-sales of production printing, as well as service delivery and solution implementation in production environments and/or relevant industry experience. * Knowledge of on-demand printing and transactional printing environments. * Understanding of various print description languages, including AFP, Metacode, LCDS, PostScript, PDF, and PCL. * Familiarity with production printing applications, production workflows, and workflow solutions. * Experience with networking, including WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, and network administration. Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems. * Knowledge of Javascript, HTML/CSS, Python, JSON \+ REST APIs.
