We work remotely from different parts of the country, but we strongly foster our culture—from our dailies (with "ruins" included), random coffees, talks, training sessions, in-person events, and let's not even talk about our Discord channels… In short, at Secture we deeply care about our team, environment, and culture, so we're looking for teammates who actively seek the same values we promote. **What will you do in this role? / What’ll you be doing** **1st month | Onboarding** We'll sit down with you to explain the business, introduce you to the team, show you how we work, the tools we use, and provide everything you need during your first days. Our technology team will teach you our stack, introduce you to all team members, and give you all the context needed to understand the project and the environment you'll be working in. You'll likely join mid-sprint. We start every day with a very relaxed company-wide daily at 10am, where each person briefly shares their progress, followed by individual team dailies. During this first month, both your development teammates and our project managers will support and guide you with anything you need for the project you'll be working on. We primarily communicate via Discord, document in Drive and Notion, and use meets for meetings. We also commonly use Monday, Trello, and Jira, depending on the project. **Over the following months** As you become familiar with the project, team, and tech stack, you'll help estimate tasks and developments to prioritize the project backlog. Part of the sprints will include improvement tasks aimed at optimizing performance, refactoring, eliminating legacy code, avoiding bottlenecks, and ultimately enhancing future scalability. We actively encourage our teammates to contribute ideas and share them without hesitation—whether they’re improvements to existing developments or new features that could positively impact the projects you’ll be working on. At Secture, we never stop growing, so we want you to become a pillar of the team and help us continue building our projects, team, and culture. **What do we expect from you?** * At least 4 years of experience in technical environments as a Backend developer * We currently have various projects with diverse tech stacks—we’d love to hear from you if you have solid experience with any of the following: **Backend** + Required experience in PHP8 with object-oriented programming and Symfony framework + If you lack Symfony experience, Laravel or Slim experience will be valued + Desirable experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, and NestJS **Other desirable skills** + Experience in automated testing, both unit and end-to-end (PHPUnit, Jest, Cypress...) + Experience with Docker and setting up development environments + Experience in automated deployments + Server management (AWS, Dedicated Servers...) * Enjoy working remotely and be accustomed to fluent communication through our internal company channels. * Ability to work in a team and help other teammates when needed. * Experience with peer reviews, good practices, and agile methodologies. * Seeking a project focused on software quality and human quality. **What do we offer you? / What’s in it for you** * Salary range according to your experience * 100% remote work.
