To this end, AINIA seeks to recruit an **Artificial Vision, Deep Learning, and Applied AI Engineer** to reinforce our **Sensors and Robotics** line within the Digital Transformation Unit. **Main Responsibilities:** * Lead and technically execute R\+D\+i projects based on artificial vision, artificial intelligence, and deep learning. * Design image analysis solutions for tasks including detection, segmentation, classification, tracking, variable estimation, and anomaly detection. * Define strategies for data acquisition, processing, labeling, and validation—including dataset generation and ground truth criteria. * Develop AI models applied to visual and multimodal data. * Evaluate various Machine Learning and Deep Learning architectures, optimizing their accuracy, robustness, explainability, and generalization capability. * Integrate models into prototypes, software applications, Edge systems, or local/real-time-oriented processing platforms. * Collaborate with experts in sensing, automation, robotics, software, and business domains to translate advanced developments into applicable industrial solutions. * Participate in preparing proposals, technical reports, results documentation, and meetings with clients or technology partners. * Identify AI application opportunities in agri-food and industrial processes, providing technical judgment and applied insight. **Requirements:** --------------- * University degree in **Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Data Science, Automatic Control, Industrial Engineering**, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields. * Demonstrable experience in artificial vision, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and/or Deep Learning. * Experience with Python and AI/vision libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, Scikit\-learn, Ultralytics, or equivalent tools. * Practical knowledge of the model lifecycle: data acquisition, preprocessing, training, validation, optimization, deployment, and monitoring. * Experience with models for detection, segmentation, classification, tracking, temporal sequence analysis, or anomaly detection. * Ability to work with real-world, variable, noisy, or incomplete data, and to translate business or process requirements into technically viable solutions. * Technical autonomy, sound decision-making judgment, communication skills, and customer orientation. * Sufficient English proficiency for technical documentation, interaction with partners, and participation in collaborative projects. Additionally, a **PhD or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, or Data Science**, as well as experience in public or private R\+D\+i projects, will be considered advantageous.
