Job Summary: We are seeking an accountant for a transportation company in Barajas, Madrid, responsible for general, analytical, and tax accounting, including month-end closings and coordination with external auditors. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive accounting management (analytical accounting, closings, taxes). 2. Coordination with external auditors and other departments. 3. Proficiency in A3CON and advanced Excel. For a freight transportation company in Barajas, Madrid, we are seeking a candidate for the accounting department. Main responsibilities include monthly data migration from the transportation management system to A3CON, reviewing and correcting possible errors in payroll, invoices, collections, payments, and accruals. You will also handle reconciliation of adjustments, management of expense accruals, analytical allocation of revenues and costs, and fixed asset control—including additions, disposals, and depreciation. Additionally, you will perform accruals, closing adjustments, monthly financial closings, and prepare the income and expense statement. You will prepare necessary information for quarterly tax settlements, annual financial statements, and respond to requests from external auditors, coordinating with the tax advisory firm and other departments. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role is required, along with hands-on experience in A3CON or similar software (mandatory), English at B2 level, experience in analytical accounting, and knowledge of VAT, withholding taxes, and Corporate Income Tax. Strong Excel skills are essential. A permanent full-time contract is offered, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00 with a one-hour lunch break. The gross annual salary ranges between 25\.000€ and 27\.000€.
