Your work moves the world!* **Kalmar España needs to hire a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Technician** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Based at our facilities in Algeciras (Cádiz), Spain, we are seeking a Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, specializing in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and applied psychosociology, who will report to the H\&S Manager and be responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and controlling all necessary actions and tasks within the field of Occupational Risk Prevention, as well as ensuring compliance with current regulations and the application and development of the Company’s Occupational Risk Prevention and Safety Policy. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Comprehensive maintenance of the OSH management system and the Prevention Plan. * Keeping the safety policy, procedures, and processes up to date. * Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety and OSH regulations. * Organizing the dissemination and archiving of documentation generated in connection with occupational risk prevention, including both documentation produced as a result of the technician’s own activities and documentation originating from various sections or departments. * Coordinating preventive activities with the main contractor and managing documentation on different platforms used for personnel documentation management to authorize work at various workplaces. * Monitoring and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety / OSH regulations. * Job Risk Assessments. * Development of Work Procedures and protocols / Adoption of preventive measures. * Liaison with the Occupational Health Service Provider (SPA) / Workers’ Compensation Insurance Provider / Occupational Health Surveillance Service. * Worker information and training, coordinated with the SPA. * Attendance at Labor Inspections and other administrative bodies related to OSH. * Preparation of Accident Reports (AT). * Periodic meetings with Prevention Delegates and with the Main Contractor’s Activity Coordination Representatives. * Control of PPE and workwear distribution. * Administrative management of the OSH system, maintaining up-to-date documentation and records. * Responsibility for compliance with environmental regulations at the workplace. * Liaison with auditors and consultants regarding Quality, Environmental, and Safety certifications. **Education and Experience** --------------------------- * Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention; Master’s degree covering all three OSH specializations. * Solid and in-depth knowledge of occupational safety and OSH legislation. * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within Industrial / Construction sector companies (e.g., working at height, in confined spaces, with mobile equipment, etc.). * Knowledge and experience in implementing ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001\. * High level of English, both written and spoken. **Skills** --------------- * Methodical, with ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines. * High degree of commitment to work and goal achievement. * Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations. * Strong capacity for learning with minimal guidance. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Teamwork capability. * Problem-solving ability and analytical approach. **About Kalmar** *Kalmar (Nasdaq Helsinki: KALMAR) is moving goods in critical supply chains around the world, with the vision to be the forerunner in sustainable material handling equipment and services.
