YOUR ROLE Within our Valencia team, we have a strategic opportunity for a Customer Service Operator. Your primary mission will be to act as the critical link between the client and our operational team, ensuring every shipment is managed with maximum data integrity and service excellence—without involvement in technical execution with suppliers. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Reporting directly to the area manager, your key responsibilities include: * Shipment Creation and Management: You will be responsible for initial data entry and creation of shipments in the system. * Data Integrity: You will ensure each file is correctly initiated with the client’s specific milestones and requirements. * Communication Management: You will maintain active and proactive contact with the client, providing updates on cargo status and comprehensively managing expectations. * Critical Interface: You will act as the liaison, translating client needs to the operational team and vice versa. * Service Focus: You will guarantee resolution of client inquiries without performing technical supplier management tasks. To ensure focus on service, this position does not handle shipping documentation (B/L), issue transport orders (TO), or maintain direct contact with carriers or suppliers for technical traffic management. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? * Experience: Professional with prior customer service experience in the logistics or freight forwarding sector. * Communication Skills: Ability to manage client relationships diplomatically and tactfully. * Attention to Detail: Meticulous profile regarding data to ensure system information is accurate from the outset. * Problem Solving: Natural ability to resolve incidents and meet business deadlines. * Languages: Professional English; French is an asset. * Tools: Proficiency in financial/logistics systems and MS Office suite, especially MS Excel.
