The Téciman team’s distinctive approach is reflected in the work we perform for our clients. We are seeking **an Electrical Telecontrol Design Engineer for Energy** for a company based in Madrid. The position is located in Madrid. The candidate must possess a multidisciplinary profile and the ability to adapt to the team’s evolving needs across various departments—particularly focusing on budgeting, tenders, preliminary planning, and preparation of technical-commercial proposals. **Responsibilities:** * Develop conceptual, basic, and detailed designs for Energy Telecontrol systems applied to railway infrastructure. * Define SCADA system architecture and energy control systems. * Design communication architecture among control centers, substations, and field equipment. * Draft operational and remote-control philosophies for electrical installations. * Specify integration of intelligent electronic devices (IEDs), RTUs, PLCs, and communication gateways. * Develop engineering documentation: system architectures, functional diagrams, I/O signal lists, communication matrices, and interface documentation. * Draft technical specifications for SCADA systems, RTUs, PLCs, servers, operator workstations, industrial communication networks, and time-synchronization systems. * Coordinate interfaces with disciplines including Electrification, Traction Substations, Catenary, Signaling, Telecommunications, and Systems. * Review suppliers’ technical documentation and participate in technical evaluation of bids. * Provide technical support during manufacturing, FAT/SAT testing, integration, and commissioning phases. * Ensure compliance with international standards and client specifications regarding automation, cybersecurity, and energy control. Requirements: * Industrial Engineering degree (specialization in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation). * Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation (preferred). * Experience in Energy Telecontrol systems, SCADA, industrial automation, or control of electrical infrastructure.
