Data exploitation from GIS and cartographic databases Technical Engineer or Graduate Engineer \- Team Management Support and Data Analysis (Madrid) **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agriculture, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to hire 1 Technical Engineer or Graduate Engineer to support team management and data analysis in the Community of Madrid. **Workplace** -------------------- * Community of Madrid Occasional travel throughout the national territory **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Support for management and coordination of technical teams working in office and field settings * Support for workload management, progress tracking, productivity monitoring, and priority setting for the team * Promotion of good practices and collaborative work * Analysis of metrics and results, and preparation of technical reports and progress updates * Technical quality control and traceability tasks for cartographic data * Data exploitation from GIS (Geographic Information System) and cartographic and inventory databases * Training on editing tools, new methodologies, and forestry concepts for new hires **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with requirements and/or merits must be justified by completing evaluation tests and/or attaching necessary documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request, at any time during the process, documents verifying the information provided in the application, as well as requiring additional information from the CV whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits for the advertised position. ### **Education** #### **Qualification** * Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering or a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering and Natural Environment, or a Technical Engineering Degree in Forestry (MECES 2\) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Prior Experience** * At least 1 year of work experience under employment contract supporting team management ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Spanish Class B driving license * Availability for occasional travel throughout the national territory **Merit Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * Additional training of at least 2000 hours in Forestry and Natural Environment Management ### **Prior Experience** * 9 months to 1 year of experience with GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) (work or academic experience) (to be verified during technical evaluation) * 6 to 9 months of experience in inventories and/or natural resource management and data analysis projects (work experience only) (to be verified during technical evaluation) * 6 to 9 months of experience in database management systems (Access, PostgreSQL) (work or academic experience) (to be verified during technical evaluation) * 6 to 9 months of experience in staff training (work experience only) * 6 to 9 months of experience in fieldwork management and/or quality control (work experience only) **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract with an estimated duration of 23 months, linked to the execution of the assignment detailed in the publication for the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, or funded by European Union funds. + Full-time schedule, afternoon shift The application period is open from today, 26/06/2026, until 01/07/2026 at 23:59 (Peninsular Time).
