Promote excellence in safety and team communication Guardian Glass is seeking a **Production Shift Supervisor** for our float glass plant in **Tudela**, Navarra. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming your team into a high-performing unit, driving our vision and culture. You will identify and leverage the unique skills of each team member to foster personal satisfaction and deliver value to the company. You will also be responsible for supervising and coordinating production efforts to achieve sustained improvements in key processes, such as Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), compliance, reliability, quality, production, and costs. **Our Team** You will join the coated glass line team, working closely with Operations and Engineering teams. We are committed to maintaining high standards of efficiency and quality, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. **Responsibilities** * Lead a team of 5 operators, ensuring safe and efficient operations while promoting vision, safety, quality, and productivity. * Develop a high-performing team by leveraging individual capabilities and creating customized development plans. * Promote safety excellence through active operator participation, encouraging their accountability and commitment to proactively eliminating hazards. Provide safety training and training materials. * Facilitate team communication and development, resolve problems and conflicts, and promote employee engagement and accountability. * Supervise product quality and improve efficiency through continuous team training. * Generate accurate and timely reports. * Evaluate the impact of decisions on costs and other processes. * Achieve or exceed KPI targets through continuous process improvement. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline. * **Availability to work four shifts.** * Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment. * Effective and clear communication skills, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. * Fluency in English and Spanish. **Preferred Qualifications** * Demonstrated leadership skills. * Experience leading or participating in continuous improvement projects. **Who We Are** As a Koch company, Guardian Glass is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of float, fabricated, and value-added glass products and solutions. The plant operates on a four-shift schedule, as the glass production furnace remains operational throughout its entire service life.
