ACCIONA, within its Urban Services business line, is recruiting an intern for its Production Department at its headquarters in Alcobendas, Madrid.**Position Description** ### **Mission:** Support the production team in managing, monitoring, and continuously improving the Street Cleaning and Urban Waste Collection services, collaborating closely with various departments to ensure proper operational execution, service efficiency, and compliance with quality standards. **Responsibilities:** * Support the implementation, monitoring, and optimization of digital tools and technological platforms for service management. * Participate in collecting, analyzing, and reporting operational data to improve decision-making. * Assist in monitoring contractual compliance and supervising service performance indicators (KPIs). * Support the preparation of management reports, improvement proposals, and operational optimization plans. * Collaborate with the maintenance and workshop team in machinery control, including tracking inspections, fuel consumption, mandatory technical inspections (ITV), and incidents. * Participate in planning and organizing human and material resources alongside service managers. * Contribute to improving operational and logistical processes by identifying opportunities for efficiency and sustainability. * Collaborate with other departments (procurement, tenders, occupational health and safety, quality, and environment) to ensure proper service execution. * Support the development of innovation initiatives focused on digitalization and enhanced service performance. **Candidate Requirements** **Requirements:** * Expected start date: September **2026**. * Possibility of signing a university internship agreement. * Opportunity to undertake a 6-month internship, preferably full-time. * Paid internship. * Currently enrolled in the final year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Sciences / Agricultural Engineering or related fields. * Advanced English proficiency is desirable. * Interest in urban services, particularly in street cleaning and waste collection management. * Availability to travel independently to the workplace located in Alcobendas. **What Do We Expect From You?** We seek high-potential individuals with strong teamwork skills and motivation to grow within an international company.
