




Position Summary: We are seeking a committed and responsible Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to elderly individuals in daily activities and collaborate in their health management. JOHN OF GOD ELDERLY RESIDENCE, seeks a committed, responsible, and vocation-driven **Nursing Assistant** dedicated to caring for the elderly, to join our multidisciplinary team. **Main Responsibilities** * Providing direct assistance to residents with basic daily living activities (personal hygiene, feeding, mobility, dressing, etc.). * Collaborating in monitoring patients' health status evolution by taking and recording temperature, measuring and describing diuresis, feces, vomiting and/or hemorrhagic losses, and promptly reporting any abnormality in these parameters to the nurse. * Immediately notifying the nurse or physician of any real or apparent vital sign compromise detected in patients within the unit, for assessment. * Preparing patients for required complementary diagnostic tests. * Collaborating with physicians and nurses in any diagnostic or therapeutic techniques requiring the assistant's involvement. * Identifying and/or processing laboratory samples as delegated by the nurse or in compliance with clinical protocols. * Maintaining perfect order and hygiene both in material supplies and in all unit areas. **Offered:** * Temporary employment contract for 6 months, part-time * Employment conditions according to the National Framework Agreement for Dependency Care Services and Promotion of Personal Autonomy (private elderly residences and home help services) **Desired Qualities:** * Teamwork * Responsibility and organization * Communication skills **Workplace:** Granada * Diploma as Technical Assistant in Nursing Care (TCAE) * Prior experience in residential facilities, sociosanitary centers, or home care (valued but not always mandatory). * Communication skills, empathy, and human-centered approach. * Ability to work in a team and manage delicate situations.
