Assign seats to guests by offering clean and available tables, removing chairs, placing clean and updated menus in front of each guest, etc. Guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance when needed. Move and arrange tables, chairs, and cutlery, and organize seating layouts for groups with special requirements. Ensure appropriate cutlery is used and that each guest receives a napkin, clean utensils, and any other items included in a standard place setting. Check menus to ensure they are up-to-date, clean, complete, and wrinkle-free. Maintain cleanliness in work areas throughout the day using consistent cleaning procedures. Monitor seat availability, service delivery, safety, and guest well-being in dining areas. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management, and complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance remain neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Communicate clearly and professionally with others and answer phones using proper protocol. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support the team in achieving common goals, and listen to and appropriately respond to concerns raised by fellow employees. Ensure quality expectations and standards are met. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate. Work Experience: No prior related experience required; previous experience in foodservice environments is preferred. Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
