Job Summary: We are seeking a geriatric caregiver to provide direct care and emotional support to elderly individuals, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team at a center dedicated to well-being. Participation in animation activities and workshops **Geriatric Caregiver \- El Montseny Geriatric Residence** **Company Description:** The Montseny Centre, located in the town of El Masnou, is a residential and day-care facility dedicated to the comprehensive care of elderly people. We have a committed and professional team whose goal is to guarantee the well-being and quality of life of our residents. **Position Description:** We are looking for a **geriatric caregiver** to join our direct personal care team. The selected candidate will work in coordination with the center’s healthcare and social professionals. **Main Responsibilities:** · Personal care for residents (hygiene, feeding, mobility, daily activities). · Emotional and social support. · Support to nursing staff and other team members in assistance-related activities. · Collaboration in the center’s animation activities and workshops. · Compliance with safety and health protocols. **Requirements:** · Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle in Nursing Assistant (TCAI). · Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle in Care for Dependent Persons. · Professional Certification in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions. · Prior experience in geriatric residences will be valued. **Offered:** · Contract: Temporary contract covering sick leave (IT) at 85% of full-time hours during morning shifts, and a 3-month selection process on afternoon shifts (45% of full-time hours), with potential transition to an indefinite contract. · Working hours: 85% during morning shifts (sick leave coverage) and 45% during afternoon shifts (selection process). · Schedule: Morning shift: 07:00–14:30; Afternoon shift: 14:30–22:00, with rotating weekend shifts. · Salary: According to the Dependency Collective Agreement. **€1,160.37 gross per full-time working day.** · Positive working environment and multidisciplinary team. **Valued Qualifications:** Catalan language proficiency. · Immediate start. · On-site work mode. · Valid work permit. · Driver’s license and personal vehicle. **Competencies:** · Person-centered care. · Rigor and continuous improvement. · Ability to work collaboratively. · Interpersonal and communication skills. **Geriatric Caregiver \- El Montseny Geriatric Residence** **Company Description:** The Montseny Centre, located in the town of El Masnou, is a residential and day-care facility dedicated to the comprehensive care of elderly people.
