Job Description
At **ILERWORK**, we select talent for leading companies in the construction and infrastructure sector. We are currently seeking a **Construction Planning Technician** to join a major **Data Center** construction project in Montmeló (Barcelona), in collaboration with **Fibratel**, a reference company in the development of technological infrastructures and telecommunications projects.

What will your responsibilities be?
Project Planning
* Develop the initial construction schedule and detailed project timeline.
* Define milestones, critical activities, and construction sequences.
* Establish execution schedules in coordination with technical and production teams.
* Participate in defining strategies and work plans to ensure timely delivery.
Monitoring and Control
* Conduct periodic physical progress monitoring of the construction works.
* Compare actual progress against the established plan.
* Identify scheduling deviations and propose corrective actions.
* Update timelines and prepare periodic progress reports.
Coordination
* Coordinate planning with site managers, supervisors, production, procurement, subcontractors, and project management.
* Ensure proper integration of human resources, machinery, and supplies into the schedule.
* Participate in project monitoring and coordination meetings.
Reporting
* Prepare progress reports for project management.
* Generate productivity indicators, milestone achievement metrics, and planning evolution analyses.
* Analyze risks related to the construction schedule.
* Prepare reports and presentations for clients and management as required.
Document Management
* Maintain up-to-date all documentation related to planning.
* Manage progress records and evidence of execution.
* Ensure traceability of modifications, revisions, and rescheduling of the project.
Requirements
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals and Ports), Technical Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent qualification related to construction.
* Candidates holding a Higher Vocational Training Diploma in Building Projects, Civil Works, or similar qualifications will also be considered, provided they demonstrate proven experience in construction planning.
Experience
* Minimum of **2 to 5 years** of experience in construction project planning and control.
* Experience in building construction, civil works, or installations.
* Experience in large-scale projects and highly technically complex environments will be valued.
