This position involves the specialized operation of forklifts—primarily electric pallet trucks—within a controlled cold storage environment. Daily activities focus on the safe and efficient handling of perishable goods, ensuring compliance with cold chain protocols. This role is essential to the logistics flow, covering everything from product receipt to preparation for distribution, always prioritizing cargo integrity and workplace safety. The operational environment is characterized by constant exposure to positive-temperature cold rooms, with temperatures regularly ranging between 2°C and 5°C, requiring the use of specific personal protective equipment (PPE). Work organization follows rotating shift schedules, ensuring full warehouse operational coverage throughout the week. Precision in machinery handling and strict adherence to established procedures are critical success factors for this role, which directly contributes to the efficiency of the logistics center. Adaptation to a variable work schedule—including afternoon and night shifts—is an integral component of the position, designed to align with the operational demands of the temperature-controlled logistics sector. This offer includes an initial fixed-term contract lasting one month, with the possibility of extension based on business needs, potentially leading to permanent integration into the workforce. The working schedule is full-time, with a weekly commitment of 40 hours distributed from Monday to Sunday, including afternoon and night shifts, and two weekly rest days assigned according to the established rotating shift schedule. The work environment is a refrigerated warehouse, involving continuous exposure to low temperatures while performing job duties. A minimum of one year of verifiable experience as a forklift operator is required, with specific emphasis on logistics or warehousing environments. A valid forklift operator license or certification—specifically covering electric pallet trucks—is mandatory. Immediate availability for commencement is a fundamental selection criterion. No formal academic qualifications are required; however, any additional training in occupational safety or goods handling will be considered an asset.
