Description
**Description:**
----------------
Within the eXperience and ATK group of companies, we are hiring an AWS Solutions Architect for our Data & Analytics division, where we work with national and international clients on data engineering, artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, data strategy and governance, integration and architecture projects—covering the full data lifecycle.
Mission
Design, plan, and implement solutions on Amazon Web Services, acting as a bridge between the client’s business objectives and delivery technical teams. We seek an architect profile with a hands-on mindset: someone who not only defines the solution and guides its implementation but also rolls up their sleeves to tackle the highest-risk components—both at the cloud architecture layer and the software layer.
Responsibilities
* Cloud architecture: designing scalable, resilient, and highly available systems using S3, EC2, EKS, Lambda, Glue, ECS, Kinesis, RDS, and CloudFormation/Terraform, applying the AWS Well-Architected Framework as the reference model.
* Software and data architecture: defining data models, bounded contexts, API contracts, and decoupling patterns (hexagonal/adapter) for complex data processing systems.
* Cost optimization: right-sizing and tuning cloud resources using Cost Explorer, Budgets, and Trusted Advisor.
* Security and compliance: defining access controls, encryption, and risk mitigation policies using IAM, KMS, VPC, NACLs, Security Groups, Direct Connect, and VPN.
* Migration and modernization: supporting legacy system migration to the cloud and evolution toward microservices and serverless architectures, via incremental migration with equivalence validation against the source system.
What we offer
* Immediate incorporation into the eXperience and ATK group, within a rapidly expanding Data & Analytics division.
* Permanent contract and job stability, with genuine professional development opportunities.
* 100% remote work.
* Competitive compensation package, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications.
* Flexible benefits: meal card, transportation allowance, and childcare support.
* Personalized training plan: technical courses, official certifications, and language learning.
**Requirements:**
---------------
Minimum 3 years designing and implementing solutions on AWS, with expertise in:
* + Networking: VPC, subnets, routing.
+ Databases: RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Aurora PostgreSQL/MySQL.
+ Compute: EC2, EKS, Lambda, ECS/Fargate.
+ Data services: Glue or distributed Spark/EMR, Kinesis.
Solid experience in data engineering with Python (pandas, PySpark), SQL, Apache Spark, AWS Glue, boto3, and Docker.
Software architecture design: REST/OpenAPI contract-first APIs, versioning and backward compatibility; ability to choose between modular monolith and microservices based on context; hexagonal/clean architecture with clear layer separation.
Experience in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation and/or Terraform).
English B2+/C1 spoken and written.
Effective communication, active listening, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving orientation.
**Nice-to-have**
AWS Solutions Architect certification (Associate or Professional).
Document-oriented databases.
Orchestration tools such as Airflow or native AWS equivalents (Step Functions, EventBridge).
Knowledge of AI and LLMs—both cloud-based services (Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore, integrating models into data pipelines) and AI-assisted development tools.
The eXperience and ATK group of companies guarantees equal opportunities throughout its selection processes. We value all applications solely based on suitability for the role, without discrimination on grounds of gender, age, origin, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.
