Assist in orienting new employees. Assist in training hiring managers and interviewers on all interview and selection policies and procedures. Schedule and coordinate applicant interviews with the appropriate hiring manager and/or interviewer. Conduct applicant interviews for hourly and management positions. Ensure effective communication of the company’s personal grooming standards to new employees. Conduct orientation training for new employees, including completion of all new employee paperwork. Assist with designing and developing training programs. Develop training aids and multimedia tools to present training material. Order and manage inventory of training materials and supplies. Prepare training classes (e.g., materials, class setup and breakdown). Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Communicate with others using clear and professional language and prepare and review written documents accurately and completely. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to other employees’ concerns. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address their service needs; thank them with genuine appreciation; assist guests with disabilities. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
