Formwork Operator

Description

This position focuses on the assembly and dismantling of formwork systems in industrial construction environments. The work involves preparing and adjusting metallic components that will be used for concrete pouring in various structures. Competent handling of specific manual tools for material fabrication and reference control is required. Daily tasks are carried out in an environment prioritizing precision and safety, following established protocols to ensure formwork quality. This role is fundamental within the project's workflow, directly contributing to structural framing and foundation phases. The ability to interpret basic blueprints and follow technical instructions is an integral part of the responsibilities. The position demands attention to detail and a methodical approach to ensure all components are correctly installed and aligned before concrete pouring. Teamwork is essential, coordinating with other trades to meet project deadlines. The environment is dynamic, adapting to different construction stages—from initial preparation through to structural completion. Basic tool cleaning and maintenance, as well as maintaining a tidy worksite, are also expected, promoting an orderly and safe environment for all operators. Salary is determined according to the collective bargaining agreement applicable to the industrial construction sector. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and Fridays from 08:00 to 14:20. This position offers a stable working environment within industrial construction projects. All current occupational health and safety regulations are strictly observed. The contract includes social benefits stipulated by Spanish labor legislation. A minimum of one year's prior experience in the construction sector is required, specifically in metalwork and formwork-related tasks. Practical knowledge of commonly used manual tools on site is mandatory. A Medium-Level Vocational Training qualification in a related field—such as mechanical manufacturing or metal structures—is considered a strong advantage. The ideal candidate must possess physical aptitude for outdoor work and the ability to rigorously follow instructions.
