We are currently seeking a **Junior Data Scientist** to join an aerospace sector project with **Boeing**, in hybrid mode and based in **Madrid**. **Main Responsibilities** ------------------------- * Extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources using Python, Spark, and SQL. * Develop data processing, cleaning, and preparation workflows for analysis and exploitation. * Support the development of analytical and Machine Learning models. * Automate data processing tasks and workflows. * Participate in identifying patterns, trends, and insights to support decision-making. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, data, and business domains. * Produce technical documentation and uphold high data quality standards. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to advanced analytics and Big Data. **Required Qualifications** ------------------------- * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related disciplines. * Proficiency in Python and data analysis libraries: + Pandas + NumPy + Scikit\-learn * Knowledge of Spark / PySpark. * Basic knowledge of SQL. * Familiarity with statistical analysis and Machine Learning techniques. * Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving orientation. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * English language proficiency at B2 level or higher. * NATO nationality or eligibility to work on projects with associated security requirements. **Preferred Qualifications** --------------- * Prior experience in Data Science, Big Data, or Data Analytics projects. * Applied Machine Learning knowledge. * Experience using Git or other version control tools. * Experience with cloud-based tools. * Data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, or similar). * Interest in the aerospace sector and technological innovation. **What We Offer** ----------------- * Permanent contract with Capgemini Engineering. * Participation in high-impact projects within the aerospace sector. * International, innovative, and collaborative environment. * Continuous training and access to technical certifications. * Career development plan tailored to your professional growth. * Real growth opportunities within the company. * Hybrid work model. * Location in Madrid. **About Capgemini** ------------------- Capgemini is a global leader in transforming and managing businesses by harnessing the full power of technology.
