At IDDTEK, we are selecting, for an important client company, a Procurement Engineer with experience in managing and supervising procurement plans for civil works, steel structures, mechanical, electrical, and I\&C projects. The selected candidate will participate in a pioneering international project in the steel industry from Bilbao or Madrid, ensuring efficient execution of procurements and collaborating with multiple teams. What will be the responsibilities of the position? * Report to the Procurement Director on the progress of the procurement plan. * Support the client and management teams during the procurement process. * Coordinate internal teams to correctly define procurement packages. * Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. * Support the client throughout the tendering cycle. * Manage documentation for budget request submissions. * Ensure achievement of procurement KPIs. * Maintain continuous communication with suppliers. * Collaborate with the planning team to adjust schedules. * Identify risks and develop mitigation plans. * Engineering degree. * Over 10 years’ experience in Procurement for EPC contracts (EPCM or PMC experience is desirable). * Experience in complex projects in the steel, mining, or infrastructure sectors. * Knowledge of MS Office, UNIFIER and/or Aconex (desirable). * Negotiation skills and commercial awareness. * Teamwork ability and technical rigor. * Advanced English (C1\)
