Job Summary: We are seeking a Sheet Metal Bender to assemble ambulances and special vehicles, operating bending machines and interpreting engineering drawings. Key Points: 1. Strengthens a specialized team for assembling special vehicles. 2. Main responsibilities: set up and operate bending machines, interpret engineering drawings. 3. Experience with CNC bending machines and metallurgy training is desirable. **Description** --------------- We are a company specializing in the assembly of ambulances and special vehicles (medical, police, and mobile units), and we are looking to hire a Sheet Metal Bender to reinforce our production team. Main responsibilities: * Set up and operate bending machines to bend and shape metal plates and sheets. * Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and production programs to determine specifications required for each job. * Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each bending operation. (SMED) * Place metal plates and sheets onto the bending machine and align them precisely according to specified measurements. Requirements: ✔ Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a sheet metal bender or in a similar role. ✔ Knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation and measurement (calipers, squares, etc.). ✔ Experience with CNC bending machines is desirable. ✔ Ability to work in a team and attention to detail. ✔ Training in mechanical manufacturing, boiler-making, or metalworking is desirable.
