With over 40 owned workshops for repair and maintenance, we specialize in bodywork, mechanical repairs, and all types of vehicle services thanks to over 40 years’ experience repairing our rental fleet. We are currently seeking to hire a First-Level Mechanic for our Coslada branch. The responsibilities associated with this position include: Inspect, repair, and/or replace steering racks and steering columns Diagnose, install, and repair combustion, electric, and hybrid engines; transmissions; and electrical faults in vehicles Operate and manage diagnostic equipment, ECU coding, fault clearing, and fault diagnosis Manage windshield repairs/replacements Inspect and replace brake pumps and power brakes, timing belts, clutches, engine ancillary components, and cylinder head gaskets Replace engines and starter solenoids Diagnose, inspect, and replace EGR valves, FAP systems, SCR systems, DPF filters, and catalytic converters Regenerate vehicle particulate filters (FAP) Code tire valves using TMPX devices Dismantle and assemble engines and related mechanical components required for bodywork repairs Dismantle/replace and reassemble components bolted to the vehicle body Manage air conditioning refrigerant charging Install towing hitches Perform headlight alignment Inspect workshop lifts daily Balance wheels to ensure vehicle comfort and safety Handle vehicle registration procedures Inspect and replace brake pads and discs, brake shoes and drums, brake fluid, alternator belts, spark plugs and glow plugs, power steering belts, light bulbs, wheel bearings, ball joints, suspension arms, shock absorbers, and transmissions Perform oil and filter replacements and repairs; tire replacements and puncture repairs; spark plug and glow plug replacements; differential oil changes; power steering fluid replacement; antifreeze replacement; replacements of components such as pipes or valves; rearview mirror replacements; light and headlight replacements; bumper, fender, and accessory part replacements (e.g., interior doors) Manage air conditioning refrigerant charging Install, dismantle, and replace roof racks, components and accessories, locks, trailer hitches and electrical kits, telematics devices, interior panels, decal removal and application, and door locks and starter solenoids Assist and support the rest of the workshop team with other tasks and activities Move vehicles for assembly and within and outside the branch premises Requirements A Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) or Medium-Level Vocational Training Certificate (CFGM) in Automotive Engineering and at least 4–5 years of relevant experience are required. A valid driver’s license, not suspended or revoked. Offer Permanent contract. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. During summer (from the last week of June until the first week of September), intensive morning shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
