We are currently seeking to hire **Social Workers** for the **SAMUR SOCIAL** service, a key resource for responding to social emergencies in the city of Madrid. **Main Responsibilities** The selected candidate will assume **professional responsibility for social intervention**, carrying out, among others, the following duties: **Social Intervention and Assessment** * Individual and group social assessment of service users. * Direct social intervention in emergency and vulnerability situations. * Follow-up of individuals accommodated in shelter facilities and other resources (residential centers, hostels, hotel placements, etc.). * Case transfer and social information handover to the referring resource (verbal and written). **Coordination and Supervision** * Operational responsibility for intervention in mobile units, shelter facilities, and the communications room. * Supervision and support of Social Services Assistants. * Coordination with middle management, technical coordinators, and the communications room. **Technical Management and Documentation** * Preparation and safekeeping of clinical and technical reports (in both paper and electronic formats). * Reporting incidents or procedural deviations in accordance with the service’s quality policy. **Emergency Intervention** * Voluntary or mandatory participation in risk and/or disaster situations outside regular working hours. * Application of the service’s operational protocols. **Training, Teaching, and Research** * Participation in research and teaching projects approved by the service. * Attendance at mandatory continuing education sessions. **Representation and Information** * Providing family members with information regarding the user’s situation and interventions carried out. * Media engagement, subject to prior authorization from management and municipal authorities. All this while ensuring a **professional, respectful, and humanized approach** toward service users and intervention teams. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. * Minimum six months’ experience in social emergency intervention or with groups at risk of social exclusion. * Strong decision-making ability, teamwork skills, and capacity to manage stress in emergency contexts (desirable). **Offered** * Contract type aligned with project/service requirements (temporary or permanent). * Salary according to collective agreement. * Working schedule from Monday to Sunday (depending on position to be filled). * Morning, afternoon, or night shifts. * Integration into a highly skilled, specialized, and multidisciplinary team. **Professional Development and Internal Career Progression** SAMUR SOCIAL is a service encompassing multiple intervention areas and specialized projects.
