We are currently seeking a Social Educator for a Minor Reception Center in Gijón. Main responsibilities will include: * Supervising unaccompanied migrant minors in a tutored facility * Contributing to and working toward establishing a warm coexistence environment within the center * Providing urgent and immediate reception for minors and immediately addressing their residential, administrative, social, emotional, educational, health, training, and other needs * Conducting social, educational, and training follow-up for minors * Processing necessary documentation to ensure their legal status * Working toward achieving an autonomous and integrated lifestyle within the community * Preparing reports. Offer includes: * Temporary contract to cover vacation periods. * Full-time schedule of 38.5 hours per week on rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night) **Profile:** Diploma/Degree in Social Education Knowledge of the Minors’ Protection System Knowledge and experience working with unaccompanied foreign minors. Knowledge and experience in delivering educational activities in facilities/apartments for minors under protection Knowledge and experience in intervention methodology for assessment, follow-up, and intervention with minors in general, and particularly with foreign minors under protection. Knowledge and experience regarding educational, training, and leisure resources targeted at minors. Languages (high conversational proficiency in at least one of the following will be valued): French, English, Arabic Knowledge related to migration, international protection, and foreign affairs Knowledge and experience in formulating, designing, and implementing training activities Intercultural mediation knowledge and experience will be valued Proximity of residence to the center will be valued Driver’s license Holding a Disability Certificate of 33% or higher will be valued **Competencies:** Problem analysis and resolution, Initiative and autonomy, Ability to lead initiatives, Organization and planning, Interpersonal communication, Teamwork **Level:** Employee **Contract Type:** Full-time **Duration:** Up to 6 months **Salary:** Between 24\.001 and 30\.000 € gross/year **Minimum Education:** Diploma **Minimum Experience:** At least 1 year **Start Date:** 16/07/2026 **Number of Vacancies:** 1
