Career path towards advanced system administration A company based in Mataró is seeking a full-time Helpdesk Technician, working Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 17:30 (1-hour lunch break) and Friday from 8:00 to 14:00, with a gross monthly salary of €1600 per month paid in 14 installments. The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary technical team, providing user support and collaborating in the management and maintenance of internal and client systems. The primary role will involve Helpdesk support and resolution of Level 1 and Level 2 incidents, with a career path towards advanced system administration. Diagnosis and resolution of IT environment issues (on-site and remote); installation and configuration of hardware, operating systems, and corporate applications; support for Office 365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint environments; assistance with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments (Azure); management of backups, antivirus software, and basic security measures; technical documentation and tracking via ticketing tools. * Minimum 24 months’ experience in similar roles: technical support, helpdesk, system administration. * Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Network and Systems Administration or equivalent (minimum requirement). * Spanish (intermediate spoken and written proficiency). * Catalan (intermediate spoken and written proficiency). * Competencies / Knowledge: MANDATORY: Basic concepts of Windows OS (client and server), networking (configuration, VLAN, VPN), virtualization, security (antivirus, backups). PREFERRED: English language skills; virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox); backup tools (Veeam); advanced networking (switching, routing, VLAN, VPN); firewalls and perimeter security (Fortinet); network and cloud services (email, printing, file sharing); databases (SQL Server). * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Gross monthly salary: €1600 * Additional relevant information: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 17:30 (1-hour lunch break) and Friday from 8:00 to 14:00; gross monthly salary of €1600 paid in 14 installments.
