Description

The HAZET SmartRail 992T-SR/8 consists of a flexible plastic head with square 1/2" drive adapters, equipped with eight practical 1/2" socket wrench inserts for trade, industry, and workshops. The magnetic base of the SmartRail series ensures perfect attachment to all magnetic surfaces—for example, workshop trolleys, tool walls, machines, lift platforms, and drawers. The durable and robust rotary lock guarantees secure fastening of socket inserts while still allowing immediate access: simply rotate the socket insert counterclockwise to remove it. The convenient pictogram and size designation for all included socket inserts make it easier to locate the required size. The eight 992T socket inserts with knurled handle are made of vanadium-chrome steel, chrome-plated and polished. The blades are coated with TiN (titanium nitride). The special CVD process for applying the extremely hard TiN coating achieves exceptionally high layer adhesion and abrasion resistance, providing enhanced wear protection and significantly extending service life. The optimal layer thickness ensures a perfect fit, allows higher torque transmission, and delivers optimized corrosion protection. The 992T socket insert is suitable for manual operation.
