Contribute to a company dedicated to protecting the planet **City :** Barakaldo**State :** Vizcaya / Bizkaia (ES\-BI)**Country :** Spain (ES)**Requisition Number :** 43833 **OllecoBunge,** a company dedicated to the collection and recycling of used cooking oil, is looking for a **System Accountant.** **Principle Accountabilities:** * Ensuring that all interactions are undertaken in a professional and courteous manner. **Key Tasks:** * Responsible for provision of training and development for finance staff on financial software and reporting tools * Responsible for technical support and troubleshooting; providing expert support to finance teams, resolving system\-related issues and diagnosing errors * Responsible for identification and implementation of process enhancements, automation opportunities and software solutions to streamline finance processes * Support design and implementation of reports to meet requirements arising from compliance obligations, business analysis and decision\-making processes. * Responsible for ensuring that systems are compliant with internal control frameworks and accounting principles * Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting standards * Support development of the framework of financial controls through system enhancements and reporting improvements * Work with IT, operations, external vendors, EDI providers and other stakeholders on system\-related projects including implementation of new technologies, system upgrades and integrations * Undertake other reasonable duties as requested **Behavioural Characteristics:** * Curious \& analytical mindset * Organised and proactive. * Positive and results focused. * Takes personal ownership of own performance. * Excellent communication skills; ability to engage at all levels and challenge when necessary. * Able to work safely at all times. * Team player. **Qualifications:** * Required: * + Finance qualification – degree or vocational qualification (e.g. grado superior) + Experience using and supporting finance systems * Desirable: * + Prior experience as a systems accountant + Experience working in finance within the waste or logistics industries. + Experience using Infor M3 and/or other Infor applications + Experience of project delivery * Fluent in Spanish.
