Job Summary: ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Microgrid and Energy Storage Technician to design, evaluate, and optimize microgrid and renewable energy storage solutions, meeting technical and economic requirements. ACCIONA, in its energy business, requires the incorporation of a Microgrid and Energy Storage Technician for its workplace. Job Description Design, evaluate, and optimize microgrid and renewable energy storage solutions, complying with customers’ technical, economic, and quality requirements, and maintain up-to-date expertise in energy storage technologies and hybrid renewable energy systems. 1\. Prepare load and consumption profiles to assess energy performance and meet customer needs. 2\. Design hybrid renewable generation systems, combining wind, photovoltaic, energy storage, and electrolyzers to maximize efficiency. 3\. Calculate and size microgrids integrating generation and storage to satisfy energy demand, prioritizing renewable resources. 4\. Size and calculate energy storage systems, managing energy delivery from renewable plants according to quality and temporal distribution requirements. 5\. Perform sizing and calculation of grid-connected energy storage systems. 6\. Analyze and manage uncertainties associated with energy calculations and studies. 7\. Develop technical specifications and performance guarantees for energy storage systems. 8\. Verify that energy storage systems meet the performance and reliability guarantees offered. 9\. Analyze technical issues and develop proposals for improvement or resolution. 10\. Ensure quality in the execution of assigned tasks and collaborate in continuous improvement.
