




Job Summary: Ensure the optimal condition, functionality, and appearance of hotel carpentry, contributing to the aesthetic, functional, and safe maintenance of facilities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Inspect and repair carpentry elements. 2. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks and maintain the inventory of materials. 3. Coordinate repairs to avoid service disruption. INSOTEL HOTEL GROUP is a well-established hotel chain in the Balearic Islands undergoing active expansion. Your primary role within the company will be to ensure the proper condition, functionality, and presentation of all hotel carpentry elements (interior and exterior), thereby contributing to the aesthetic, functional, and safe maintenance of facilities in accordance with INSOTEL HOTEL GROUP’s quality and sustainability standards, under the supervision of the SSTT Manager. **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Conduct periodic inspections of wooden installations: doors, windows, flooring, furniture, skirting boards, decorative ceilings, cabinets, reception desks, pergolas, and exterior structures. * Identify and repair defects, wear, breakages, or deterioration, ensuring safety and maintaining the visual appeal of areas. * Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to the hotel’s maintenance plan, recording all interventions carried out. * Repair and adjust locks, hinges, guides, handles, drawers, and furniture mechanisms. * Fabricate or adapt new components (panels, moldings, shelving, frames) as required by the hotel, using carpentry machinery and hand tools. * Assemble, disassemble, or relocate furniture in guest rooms, common areas, kitchens, restaurants, spas, or outdoor spaces. * Install new decorative or functional carpentry elements in accordance with technical drawings or instructions. * Apply protective treatments, varnishes, paints, or oils onto wooden surfaces or wood-based materials. * Sand, clean, and retouch visible components to preserve the hotel’s luxurious and well-maintained image. * Manage stock levels of timber, varnishes, tools, and consumables; request replenishment when necessary. * Keep the workshop tidy, clean, and safe, complying with occupational health and safety regulations. * Respond to urgent maintenance requests related to furniture or carpentry in guest rooms or common areas. * Coordinate with Reception or Housekeeping departments to carry out repairs without disrupting service.
