RESPONSIBILITIES: Surface Preparation * Sanding, degreasing and cleaning body surfaces prior to paint application. * Applying fillers, primers and anti-corrosion treatments according to Scania procedures. Paint Application * Applying base coat and clear coat using spray guns, paint booths and industrial equipment. * Ensuring uniformity, gloss and adhesion in line with manufacturer standards. * Controlling paint mixtures and colours to maintain fidelity to the Scania colour palette. Finishing and Touch-ups * Polishing and correcting imperfections. Equipment Maintenance and Cleaning * Keeping paint booths, spray guns and tools in perfect working condition. * Complying with safety and environmental regulations when handling chemical products. Desired Skills and Knowledge: - Education: Vocational Training Cycle in Bodywork, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Painting or equivalent. - Experience: Minimum 3 years in heavy or industrial vehicle painting; experience in official workshops is valued. - Availability to work rotating shifts Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 and 12:00–19:00, plus alternate Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:00. - Technical skills: - Proficiency in paint booths, spray guns and mixing equipment. - Knowledge of industrial paints, primers and clear coats. - Ability to prepare surfaces, apply paint and perform high-quality finishing. - Attention to detail and quality orientation.
