




We are seeking a **Cook/Chef** for an upcoming café opening, responsible for food preparation and presentation while ensuring service quality, hygiene, and efficiency. The selected candidate will actively participate in the kitchen launch and in defining initial operational processes. **Main Responsibilities** * Preparation and cooking of café dishes (breakfasts, afternoon snacks, brunch, light snacks, simple meals, etc.). * Kitchen organization and pre-service setup. * Quality control, presentation, and delivery timing of products. * Compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations. * Basic stock management, goods receipt, and proper storage. * Cleaning and maintenance of work areas and utensils. * Collaboration in menu creation or improvement (optional, depending on profile). * Coordinated work with front-of-house staff. **Requirements** * Prior experience as a cook or kitchen assistant (preferably in cafés or similar establishments). * Knowledge of food handling and hygiene. * Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure. * Organizational skills, responsibility, and attention to detail. * Availability matching the café’s operating hours. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in launching gastronomic venues. * Formal training in gastronomy. * Creativity and proactivity. * Knowledge of cost and waste control. **We Offer** * Opportunity to join a new and growing project. * Positive work environment. * Potential for professional development. * Compensation and conditions commensurate with the position and experience.
