Collaborate in international environments with fluency in both Spanish and English DESCRIPTION We are seeking a senior cybersecurity professional, specialized in data protection, information security, and European regulatory compliance, to participate in high-impact, data-centric projects with an international scope. The position focuses on the design and evolution of secure, data-centric architectures, with particular attention to regulated environments and European projects. REQUIREMENTS * Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in cybersecurity, including at least 5 years in roles focused on data protection, sensitive information security, and secure corporate architectures. * Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing data security controls, such as classification and labeling, encryption in transit and at rest, granular access and permission controls, auditing, and monitoring of information usage. * Prior participation in European research projects or initiatives funded by the European Commission in the fields of cybersecurity or data protection. * Practical knowledge of European regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, NIS, NIS2, and requirements linked to European programs such as H2020 or Horizon Europe. * Experience in software development environments and distributed architectures, including microservices, APIs, and cloud, on-premise, and hybrid platforms. * Ability to routinely work in international environments with professional fluency in both Spanish and English. * Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across architecture, development, operations, and business functions. **Desirable Requirements**: * Prior experience in the military or defense sector, or in mission-critical projects related to NATO standards or similar frameworks. * Participation in security-by-design and privacy-by-design initiatives for complex systems, including cloud, IoT, or cyber-physical solutions. * Experience with data-centric architectures for Big Data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data lakes, data mesh, and data fabric, integrated with advanced IAM or CIAM. * Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor, or similar. * Practical knowledge of application security across the software development lifecycle, including DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD, code review, and automated controls.
