What are we looking for? We are seeking a Moodle Developer with solid PHP experience and in-depth knowledge of the Moodle platform to participate in the development, evolution, and maintenance of e-learning solutions for educational and corporate projects. The selected candidate will work within multidisciplinary teams, closely collaborating with analysts, QA engineers, and integration teams, and participating in all phases of the development lifecycle. Required Knowledge and Competencies: * Minimum 3 years’ experience developing in Moodle (mandatory). * Minimum 3 years’ experience in PHP development, both procedural and object-oriented. * Development and/or modification of Moodle plugins (mod, block, local). * Proficiency with the Form API, core libraries, and understanding of Moodle’s internal architecture. * Knowledge of MariaDB/MySQL or PostgreSQL databases. * Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for component adaptation and customization. * Experience using REST Web Services and consuming APIs. * Proficiency with Git for version control. * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to produce high-quality technical documentation. Desirable Knowledge: * Experience with SSO integrations (Keycloak, RHSSO / RHBK). * Knowledge of Docker, OpenShift, and CI/CD environments. * Understanding of web security and best practices (OWASP). * Experience with Mustache templating or Moodle theme development. * Contributions to the Moodle community or official Moodle certifications. * Prior experience in educational or public administration projects. Main Responsibilities: * Development of new features and modules in Moodle. * Evolutionary and corrective maintenance of existing plugins. * Resolution of technical incidents and participation in functional and technical testing. * Documentation of developments and support for functional teams. * Participation in deployments across DEV / PRE-PROD / PROD environments. * Collaboration with analyst-programmers, QA engineers, and integration teams.
