Our headquarters are located in Vigo—a strategic location for developing large-scale projects. **Job Responsibilities:** The Hydraulic Calculation Engineer will be responsible for: * Performing complex hydraulic calculations for the design of water supply, distribution, and sanitation networks. * Developing and sizing pipe systems, ensuring efficiency and safety. * Participating in the conceptualization and design of hydrological and hydraulic projects. * Preparing technical reports, project documentation, and memoranda. * Conducting technical and economic feasibility studies for projects. * Collaborating closely with other departments (civil engineering, environment, etc.) to ensure integration of hydraulic designs. * Using specialized software for hydraulic simulations and calculations. * Supervising and validating calculations performed by other team members. * Staying updated on the latest regulations and technologies in hydraulics. * Participating in meetings with clients and other stakeholders to present and discuss project progress. **Job Requirements:** * Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Engineering of Roads, Canals and Ports, or related field. * Demonstrable 5-year experience in hydraulic design and calculation within the water sector. * Specific experience in pipe network calculation and sanitation systems. * Proficiency in hydraulic calculation software (e.g., EPANET, HEC\-RAS, SWMM, etc.). * Solid knowledge of open-channel and pipe hydraulics, hydrology, and water resources management. * Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Proactivity, responsibility, and commitment to quality. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems). * Experience in modeling complex networks. * Familiarity with applicable international and local regulations. * Experience in project management. * English language proficiency. **Location:** Vigo, Spain.
